Claude Duet Opens as a Research Preview for US Pro and Max Users

Anthropic has launched Claude Duet, a separate app where Claude works as a proactive agent. It sends a morning brief, does tasks in the background and asks before it acts.

What changed

• A new app. Claude Duet is available on iPhone, Android and the web at claude.ai, for people who are let in.
• A waitlist. Access starts with US Pro and Max subscribers. Invites go out in waves.
• Safety first. Duet asks before it sends messages, pays, signs documents or deletes anything.
• Rivals. Duet arrives weeks after Meta Muse and OpenAI Dots.

What it means for you

• If you’re on Free, Team or Enterprise, or outside the US: you can’t get Duet yet. Anthropic says Team and Enterprise come later.
